Privacy notice

Last updated: October 2026

This explains what personal information I collect through this website, what I do with it, who else handles it, and what you can ask me to do about it. I've kept it as plain as the law allows.

Who I am

Ctrl Grow Financial is the trading name of Control Grow Financial Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 14890474), with its registered office at 679 High Road, Leyton, London E10 6RA. I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, reference ZB627431.

For anything to do with your personal information, email me at admin@ctrl-grow.com or call 0330 043 5520.

This notice covers visitors to this website, people who book a call, newsletter subscribers and anyone who gets in touch. If you become a client, how I handle your business and personal information is set out in your engagement letter.

What I collect, and why

When you book a call or a health and hygiene inspection

Bookings are made through Calendly. I receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your business name and anything you write in the booking form. I use this to arrange the call, prepare for it and follow up afterwards. If you pay for an inspection, payment is handled by Calendly's payment provider; I never see your card details.

The legal basis is that you've asked me to take steps before we might enter into a contract, and my legitimate interest in running my practice.

When you sign up for the newsletter

I collect your email address to send you the monthly email. The legal basis is your consent. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just email me to be taken off.

When you contact me

If you email, phone or message me, I keep what you send and my reply, so I can deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me.

When you visit the site

The site itself doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

Enquiries, bookings and newsletter sign-ups are recorded in my customer relationship system so I can keep track of who I've spoken to and what about. I don't sell your information, and I don't use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who else handles your information

I use a small number of trusted services to run the practice. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

Some of these services are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where information leaves the UK, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the government-approved contract clauses.

I may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC or a regulator.

Cookies

This site doesn't set any cookies of its own. The Calendly booking calendar sets cookies it needs to work and shows its own notice where you can choose which to accept. The Vimeo videos are set not to track you.

How long I keep it

Your rights

You can ask me to:

Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email admin@ctrl-grow.com and I'll respond within one month. There's no charge.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If I change how I handle personal information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
